액티바코리아 (유) (“the Company”) handles your personal data with care and complies with the Personal Information Protection Act of Korea. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how we keep and destroy it.

1. Personal data we collect and how

We collect the following in order to handle enquiries and sample requests.

  • Sample requests — company name, contact name, phone, email, shipping address, materials and quantities of interest, application, notes
  • Quotation and partnership enquiries — company name, contact name, phone, email, message
  • Showroom bookings — company name, contact name, phone, preferred date and time, number of visitors, materials to prepare

Data is collected only when a visitor voluntarily submits one of the enquiry forms on this website. There is no membership registration, and we do not collect information that the visitor has not entered.

2. Purpose of processing

  • Dispatching free samples and advising on delivery status
  • Preparing quotations, advising on products and specifications, responding to partnership enquiries
  • Arranging and preparing showroom visits
  • Follow-up communication where an enquiry leads to business

We do not use personal data for any other purpose, and separate consent is obtained before sending any marketing communication.

3. Retention period

Personal data is destroyed without delay six months after the purpose of processing has been fulfilled, unless a longer period is required by applicable law.

If you ask us to delete your data, we will do so immediately even within that period.

4. Provision to third parties

We do not provide personal data to third parties, except where lawfully requested by an investigative authority under due process.

Recipient details (name, address, phone) may be passed to a courier to the extent necessary to deliver samples or documents.

5. Outsourcing and overseas transfer

We use the following processor to operate this website. Data is stored on servers located outside Korea.

You may refuse this overseas transfer. If you do, please contact us by phone or email instead of the online form — this places no restriction on the advice or service you receive.

6. Your rights and how to exercise them

You may at any time request access, correction, deletion, or suspension of processing of your personal data. Contact us in writing, by phone or by email at the details below and we will act without delay and inform you of the outcome.

If you act through a representative, please submit a letter of authority.

7. Destruction of personal data

Personal data is destroyed without delay once the retention period has passed or the purpose has been fulfilled.

  • Electronic files — permanently deleted by means that prevent recovery
  • Printed material — shredded or incinerated

8. Security measures

  • The number of staff handling personal data is kept to a minimum and they receive regular training
  • Encrypted transmission (HTTPS) is applied across the website and all enquiry forms
  • Access to the administration screen where submissions are stored is restricted to designated accounts
  • Material containing personal data is stored separately and may not be taken off site

9. Cookies and automatic collection

We do not use analytics or advertising cookies to track visitor behaviour.

The following third-party services may set their own cookies.

  • Google Maps — Google LLC may set cookies when the location map on the About page is displayed
  • Google Fonts — connection information may be passed to Google LLC when screen fonts are loaded

You may refuse cookies in your browser settings. Doing so does not affect use of the site other than the map display.

The “saved colours” feature stores the colour codes you select in your own browser only; nothing is sent to our servers. It contains no information that identifies an individual and is removed when you clear your browser data.

12. Changes to this policy

This privacy policy takes effect on 2026년 8월 12일. If it changes due to legislation or changes in our service, we will announce the change on this website at least seven days before it takes effect.
